"Feet, what do I need you for when I have wings to fly?" - Frida Kahlo

Skadi - the Nordic goddess of skiing, mountains, and hunting - had to choose a husband by only looking at his feet. The eligible gods lined up before her. Skadi chose what she thought were the nicest, cleanest feet, but it turned out to be the god of the sea, Njoror. Skadi was miserable living with her new husband, near the ocean and away from her beloved mountains. So, she strapped her skis back on and left him to live the life she wanted. Your October sock, The Skadi, is inspired by Nordic patterns and the goddess independent spirit. We hope it inspires you to go on an adventure of your own this Fall!
