As Sock Club celebrates its sixth year of designing and shipping elevated essentials, we have been reflecting on our journey so far. When we started, we wanted to reimagine how socks were designed and sold. Once we started making socks, we learned so much about the rich history of textiles in America, specifically North Carolina. We feel so lucky that we found this industry because it's been a big part of our success, and the reason we can make a quality product. While the textile industry in the United States isn't as big as it used to be, there's so much infrastructure and know-how there. It's the backbone of our business. We are excited to continue to innovate what designs are possible using all this knowledge. This month's sock was chosen from 25 billion different options using a software tool we built to help us find this beautiful design. Sock Club has 42 yarn colors in stock and this design has 13 colors in it, which means there are about 25 billion different options for this particular design! Your July sock, The Pascal, is named after the French mathematician whose work in Combinatorics taught us how to count things, like how many different sock designs are possible.
